Terms and Conditions

A Deposit of $300 per person is required to activate a land only reservation. An additional $450 deposit may be required for reservations including International airfare. Balance is due 60 days prior to departure. Bookings taken within 60 days of travel date require the same initial activation deposit(s), and balance will be due upon confirmation. Earlier payment may be required for specific packages or to confirm an airline ticket price and space for the package. Deposit is non refundable. Travel arrangements are not confirmed until SER Travel, Inc. has received the required deposit. Any change after a confirmed booking is subject to a fee of $ 50.00 per revision per booking plus difference if applicable.  Reservations made within 15 days of travel date are subject to a $10 late booking fee per person.

CURRENCY/PRICE GUARANTEE: All prices are quoted per person in US Dollars. Prior to receipt of final payment price are subject to change without prior notifications, if major currency fluctuations and/or unforeseen economic circumstances so necessitate.

AIR TRANSPORTATION: Air transportation (where included) is based on contracted bulk and publish fare(s) in economy class service. All fares are subject to change and are non-refundable. SER Travel, Inc. cannot assume responsibility for the default of any airline carrier. Any changes made by the passenger during his/her trip will require the purchase of another ticket at the applicable fare from South America to the United States.******************

HOTELS: Accommodations are based on “run of the House” basis. Room assignments are made by hotel management upon arrival. We reserve the right to substitute hotels of the same or superior category. There will be no refunds for any difference in the cost of those accommodations.

Cancellations received over 45 days prior to departure will be subject to a minimum $ 175.00 per person administrative cancellation fee. Additional per person penalties are as follows:

45-31 days prior to departure … $ 250.00
30-16 days prior to departure … 75 % of tour price
16-0 days prior to departure … 100 % of tour price

No refunds are paid for any unused portions of the tour. Changes in plans by the travelers during the trip are subject of penalties or non-refundable amount of the services cancelled. No refunds will be made for occasional missed meals or sightseeing tours.
New Year, Carnaval and Eastern Holiday is Non Refundable.

AIRPORT TAXES/CUSTOMS AND IMMIGRATION FEES: Departure tax within Latin America and/or customs and immigration fees are not included in our rates and must be paid directly by the passenger.

PRICE INCLUDES: Price includes all items listed under "Tour Includes", including charges for planning and operating the package.

PRICE DOES NOT INCLUDE: Price does not include expenses and items not mentioned, including but not limited to air transportation, tips for personal services, meals, beverages, parking fees, insurance, resort fees, telephone calls, laundry service, cleaning and other items of a personal nature. Prices do not include airport/airline departure and immigration taxes, passenger flight segment tax, and any airport passenger facility charges that may apply; these taxes will be quoted and collected by SER Travel, Inc. at time of booking reservation.

TRAVEL DOCUMENTS: All passengers must be in possession of a valid passport. Many countries require entry visas for American travelers. As each country’s visa requirements vary for US or non-US citizens, we recommend that you consult with the respective country’s embassy and/or consulate. It is sole responsibility of the passengers to obtain visas independently. SER Travel, Inc will no be held liable for trip cancellations or alterations occurring from lack of appropriate travel documents and no refunds will be considered for such instances.

BAGGAGE: On international flights, allowance in accordance with airline regulations. On sight-seeing vehicles and light aircraft, one suitcase per person is allowed (25 lbs. per person). SER Travel, Inc. accepts no liability for loss or damage to luggage; this is the travelers responsibility.

POSSIBLE CHANGES: We reserve the right to make reasonable changes and/or substitutions in the itinerary where deemed necessary for the benefit of all passengers.

INSURANCE:RESPONSIBILITY: SER Travel, Inc act only as agents for the various companies, owners or contractors providing the means of transportation, accommodations and other services. SER Travel, Inc does not own, manage, control, promote, run or operate any transportation or recreational vehicle, motel, hotel, restaurant or any supplier of service. All exchanges orders, coupons and tickets are offered subject to a General Information under which such services are offered or provided. SER Travel, Inc assume no liability in personal injury, illness or property damage or other loss or expense of any nature whatsoever arising directly out of any actions of any person or supplier of services providing any of the serviced, programs or accommodations offered in connection with a tour. SER Travel, Inc assumes no responsibility at all and no liability at all for any death, injury, illness, quarantine, sickness, diseases, natural disaster, damage, loss delay, accident, expense, defect or any other abnormality which may result from your participation in any activity during the tour. SER Travel, Inc can accept no responsibility for losses or accidental expenses due, as well, to delays or changes in schedules or departures, hotel over bookings or defaults, sickness, weather, strikes, war, quarantines, riots or insurrections or criminal acts committed by third parties, political disorders, of any type, or other such similar causes. All such losses or expenses will have to be borne by the passenger, who is again advised of the availability of travel insurance. Each exchange coupon, order and ticket is to be regarded as one contracted on or in behalf of the particular company or person name in it. The passenger contract in use by the airline or steamship company concerned, when issued, shall constitute the sole contract of air and steamship passage with the purchases of these tours and/or the passenger. The airline companies concerned are not be held responsible for any act, omission or event during the time passengers are not on board their planes or conveyances. The right is reserved to withdraw any tour announced in this program and to make such alterations to the itineraries as may be found desirable for the proper carrying out of the tours. In the event it becomes necessary or advisable in the Tour Operator discretion to alter the arrangements or itineraries for the passenger’s comfort or welfare for any reason whatsoever, such alterations may be made without penalty to the Operator. Additional expenses, if any, shall be borne by the passenger. The right is reserved to decline, to accept or retain any person as a member of any group at any time. This program is issued on the sole responsibility of the Tour Operator. It is not issued on behalf of and does not commit any airlines whose services are used in the course of these tours.
The issuance and acceptance of tickets and/or other documents in connections with a tour is considered acceptance of these above terms.

ARBITRATION: Any controversy or claim arising out of, or relating to, any package advertised in this website shall be submitted to binding arbitration in accordance with the Commercial Arbitration Rules of the American Arbitration Association. The arbitration shall be conducted at American Arbitration Association offices located in Los Angeles, California. Judgment upon the award rendered by the Arbitrator(s) may be entered in any court having jurisdiction thereof. Customer and SER Travel, Inc understand and agree that, by agreeing to binding arbitration, they are giving up the right to trial on the merits, by either judge or jury, or trial de novo and the right to appeal.
